Patch Test Required

All first time hair colours & highlights will need a

patch test 48 hours before first treatment. (Even if

you have had your hair coloured at another salon)

Expires after 6 months.

Payment

Some Hair Stylists are employed by Mark & take

credit cards as well as cash.

Independent Hair Stylist are self employed. Payment

by Credit Card is available with some independent

Stylists but some only accept cash.

If you wish to pay by card please check if this is

possible when booking. (Bailgate has cash machine

facilities.)

BEAUTY

Patch Tests

Certain beauty treatments require a patch test.

(Expires after 6 months or 6 months after your last

treatment)

Patch tests at least 24 hours before first treatment:

Eyelash & brow tints, Spray tan. PRO Power Peel facial and PRO Eye Flash, PRO clear, PRO Bright, PRO Firm

Patch test at least 48 hours before first treatment for

HD Brows

Record Cards

For beauty treatments you will be asked to fill in a

health record card. if you have any special medical

considerations then please advise us at the time

of booking so we can check if the treatment is

suitable. It is helpful to arrive 15 minutes before your

treatment starts to fill out this record card. This helps

to makes sure you do not lose any of your treatment

time

Clothing

Depending on your treatment we may ask you to

remove clothes to your underwear. For specialised

waxing you may be asked to remove pants but paper

knickers can be provided.

We respect your modesty at all times.

For pedicures it is advisable to bring flip flops to

avoid smudging your polish.

Contact Lenses & Jewellery

Avoid wearing jewellery as you may be asked to

remove it & we would not want you to leave it

behind or lose it.

For treatments involving facial massage, eyelash

tinting or Nouveau lashes you will be asked to

remove contact lenses so please bring whatever you

need to enable you to do this.

Spray Tan (Patch test 24 hours

before first treatment)

Do not wax or shave 24 hours before.

Do exfoliate skin the day before.

Do not use any other self tan 1 week before

treatment.

Wear loose dark clothing (washable) & flip flops.

On the day do not wear make-up, deodorant,

perfumes, body oils or lotions.

Bring an umbrella if it’s raining!

Drink lots of water after facials & massage to keep

your body hydrated & to gain maximum benefit

from your treatments.
